[Introduction to the Sacred Relic]
Upaku, also known as the "Water Wealth Buddha," was born about two hundred years after the death of Shakyamuni in the village of Madura, India, into a wealthy merchant family. From a young age, he helped his father take care of the family business, and his innate good fortune always made his business prosper.
Later, Upakku decided to become a monk, and he was one of the most important Buddhist monks during the reign of King Ashoka of India. Upakku never stopped practicing, and legend has it that he could even teleport and move freely, and everyone believed that he possessed supernatural powers.
The key legend is that he built a crystal temple at the bottom of an ocean whirlpool, and he only accepts alms and offerings from believers on Wednesday nights when the moon is full. When disaster strikes, people call upon him to help with rescue efforts. Therefore, people consider him a wealth-bringing Buddha. It is believed that wearing Upaku amulets protects against malicious people, and that those who frequently worship and make offerings to Upaku will receive his blessings, peace, good fortune, prosperous business, and abundant wealth. It is said that business people who worship Upaku every morning will achieve commercial success and acquire boundless wealth.
The image of Sangkachai is plump with a large belly, a lucky appearance that makes him even more endearing. 😊
In summary, making offerings to the Venerable One will bring wealth, charm, wisdom, and protection from illness.

[Master's Introduction]
Luang Phor Sani rose to fame in Thailand around 2520 BE ( 1977 AD ) and passed away before 2543 BE ( 2000 AD ) . He was as famous as Luang Phor Liao, the Turtle Master, but Luang Phor Liao was more known to foreigners, while Luang Phor Sani was more known to Thais.
Luang Phor Sani is a top Thai monk known for creating auspicious turtle and crocodile figurines. From a young age, he studied under several highly respected monks, the most famous of whom was Phra Ajarn Bing. Phra Ajarn Bing was the master who taught him the secrets of turtle and crocodile magic. In ancient times, Phra Ajarn Bing did not create amulets; he only wrote down ancient spells in texts to prevent their loss. He only made two amulets in his lifetime: a " Jun Na Nam Ong " ( human-shaped figurine ) and two wooden crocodiles, both of which he passed on to his daughter. When his daughter enshrined the " Jun Na Nam Ong " at home , people outside would see two children walking around the house. When his daughter asked Ajarn Bing about it, he simply said: "This is to protect you. Since someone is always home, things won't be stolen." As for the other two wooden crocodiles, once his daughter placed them in a lake, and they transformed from wood into real crocodiles. The residents immediately notified Ajarn. However, when Ajarn arrived, one of the wood-like creatures had climbed ashore and swallowed a poultry whole, rendering it unable to revert back to wood. The other creature was promptly retrieved by Ajarn and reverted back to wood, and is now kept at Wat Luang Phor Sani. All of the above information is recorded and currently stored at Wat Luang Phor Sani.
When Luang Phor Shenni was young, she would go to Ajarn Bing every day to learn magic. One day, two days, one year, ten years ... When Ajarn Bing passed away, he said: Now Luang Phor Shenni has my magic power and does everything just like me.
After Phra Ajarn Bing passed away, Luang Phor Shenni began creating his first amulets, featuring a turtle and a crocodile. The reason for choosing these two animals was that the turtle is considered a spiritual creature. The turtle also represents one of Buddha's past lives, and the master hoped it would bring good fortune, foresee accidents, and help people avoid calamities. As for the crocodile, a ferocious animal, it was believed to protect its owner.
The master often uses marble to carve a turtle image, writes scriptures on the golden body, and then consecrates it independently for more than three months. The method is to place the turtle on the ground and chant scriptures until the turtle can walk on its own. This is equivalent to giving it life. Please do not think this is an exaggeration. About half a century ago in Thailand, many masters would bless sacred objects until they could stand or walk on their own when consecrating them. This was very common in ancient times. Representative masters included: Luang Phor Suk, Luang Phor Tae, Luang Phor Thong, Luang Phor Cun, Luang Phor Ma Xia Bu , etc.
Luang Phor Shenni would often repeatedly tell his disciples: "Only when you have faith beyond belief should you bring a turtle home; otherwise, worshipping it will have no effect." Many residents near the temple wanted to acquire turtles, and the master would carefully discern whether they truly believed in turtles. Some were politely refused, and only after repeated visits would they finally receive one. This was because the master hoped that devotees would deeply believe in turtles and cherish the connection between them. He believed that everyone who received a turtle would have good fortune and be able to accurately predict and avoid impending disasters.
The master is extremely meticulous in creating sacred objects, often repeatedly blessing them for a very long time until they believe the power is sufficient or special phenomena occur, before giving them to devotees as a gift. This is because he hopes each sacred object can protect and bring peace and good fortune to the believer. Devotees must also have unwavering faith when acquiring sacred objects from the master to ensure that the objects exert their maximum efficacy. 😉
