Chongdi of the Five Ancient Buddhas
Phra Somdej (Phra Somdej) is one of the five ancient Buddhas in Thailand and is known as the "King of Amulet". The most original Dharma pictures were designed by Master Ajahn Doh. Locally in Thailand, the Chongdi amulet has the reputation of "life-saving amulet" and "the Venerable Great Wisdom Buddha".
Somdej effect
The wearer can make everything go smoothly, be safe, bring good fortune, help business, be popular, turn bad luck into good luck, have a hunch about emergencies, have a good relationship with people, and ward off evil and reduce the damage of the sword. It is a relatively comprehensive amulet. It is said that as long as the wearer is kind-hearted, there will be 108 Arhat gods to protect them, and their wishes will come true.

Origin of Chongdi
It is said that one day when Master Ajando was meditating, he heard his master's voice say: "Tomorrow's sunrise will be very special, go to the beach early to watch the sunrise! ’ Master Ajahn Duo ran to the sea. It was not yet dawn, but a white light emitted from the east, and it slowly turned into a Buddha statue full of white light, which appeared on the sea in the east. Tears, this sun-like Buddha statue must bring happiness and peace, and then bow down and leave.
In this way, Master Ajando began to make Chongdi Buddha. Around 2382 B.E., Ajahn Doh personally supervised the making of 84,000 Chongdi amulet. The materials for making Chongdi Buddha are made of temple soil, incense ashes, hair shaved by eminent monks, five grains and relics of eminent monks, and then invite eminent monks from famous temples to recite sutras for Buddha statues in Dafa, which is very precious. It is said that the person who wears the flute Buddha, as long as he has a good heart, will have everything going smoothly, everything will go well, and he will be blessed by the protection of the gods. Therefore, up to now, eminent monks in large and small temples have also made Chong flutes as offerings to good believers.
Compared with other Thai amulets, most Chongdi Buddhas have no face. In the early days, the Dharma seats were mostly three layers representing the three realms of heaven, earth and man, and there were also five layers, seven layers or nine layers. In the past 60 to 70 years, there have been eleven and thirteen layers of Dharma seats. In fact, when Chongdi sits down, there are four or six-tiered Dharma thrones, but it is relatively rare.
