Rahu deity

The way the Thai people restrain the villain is to enshrine and wear the sacred object of "Lahu God".

Lahu is naughty by nature, and the gods hate him very much when he often makes troubles. It is said that the sun god hates Lahu more than the moon goddess, so he expels Lahu, the god of the gods, that Lahu is an evil god. Furious, he interrupted Lahu across his waist. Tonguewa finally finds out the truth and finds that Lahu is a righteous god, and the moon god is the evil god. In the end, he was named a righteous god, and Lahu was able to settle his grievances and be ranked in the fairy class.

And Lahu hates people who slander others behind their backs, so he has the nickname of the villain-eating Buddha. Since half of Lahu's body was beheaded, it was all because of the goddess of the moon, so he hated evil, and the Buddha statue bit the moon. Thais also regard solar and lunar eclipses as punishments of the gods of the sun and the moon by the god Rahu. During a solar or lunar eclipse, Thais believe it is the best time to ask God Rahu for blessings and wishes.

Method of worship

1. Place Lahu Tianshen in a clean and high position above the waist (for example: altar, office,

desk, storefront)

2. Change three glasses of water every day ( one glass is also acceptable )

3. Drinks available for black (eg: black glutinous rice wine, cola, coffee ) , food (eg: grapes, chocolate )

4. You can recite the Buddha's Head Sutra / Lahu Tianshen text and sincerely pray to Lahu Tianshen for blessings🙏🏻

In addition, Wednesday is a good time to worship the god Rahu. Paying homage to Rahu and offering eight sticks of incense at eight o'clock in the evening on Wednesday can bless successful careers, great luck, full wealth, and most importantly, it can prevent villains and officials. There are eight types of black food used in the worship of Baila Beard. Thais believe that the following traditional offerings are better:

1. Black Chicken or Black Grape and Black Chicken Essence: It can guarantee a prosperous business

2. Black wine: guarantee smooth investment

3. Black coffee: you can make sure your wishes come true

4. Black jelly: can enhance wisdom

5. Black Beans: Keeps Prosperous

6. Black glutinous rice: It can ensure stable wealth and a warm family

7. Black Dessert: Good Luck

8. Black preserved egg: can guarantee to attract nobles

Worship Rahu, the content of the prayer is not limited. It is better to eat and drink the offerings after the worship. The wine can be added with water for bathing, and the offerings can be shared with others.
