[Master's Introduction]

Luang Phor Pern is one of the three most revered monks of modern Thailand and a famous tiger-taming Arhat. He is known for his remarkable effectiveness in attracting, protecting, and improving wealth.

Luang Phor Pern once spent nine years in the mountains practicing asceticism and frequently encountered tigers. Whenever he encountered a tiger, he would sit down and chant scriptures, and the tiger would obediently come over to listen until he finished chanting and then leave.

Luang Phor Pern also favored using tiger imagery in the tattoos, amulets, and other sacred objects he made for his followers. Some of these items even actually contained tiger skin and teeth. Luang Phor Pern believed that tigers could ward off evil, increase power, and attract wealth.

Luang Phor Pern was a master of Sak Yant tattoos, and one of the most astonishing stories about him during his lifetime was related to this. It is said that after a man who had Luang Phor Pern tattoo him died for some reason, the forensic doctor discovered during the autopsy that the scalpel could not cut through the tattooed man's body!

From a forensic perspective, there was absolutely no medical basis for this, thus causing a great sensation and impact. Therefore, everyone later believed that those who received Sak Yant tattoos from Luang Phor Pern were invulnerable to weapons!

Luang Phor Pern was also highly skilled in the ancient Sak Yant tattooing technique. During his lifetime, countless monks sought his teachings and learned from him. By the time Luang Phor Pern reached his later years, he had disciples all over the world.

Luang Phor Pern passed away in 2545 BE ( 2002 AD ) at the age of 79. His body did not decay, achieving the state of incorruptibility of an Arhat, and was therefore enshrined in the temple for people to worship.

[Introduction to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep]

Wat Bang Phra, located in Nakhon Chai Si district, Nakhon Pathom province, central Thailand, is a large Buddhist temple. It was presided over by the highly respected Luang Pho Poen before his passing. It was also featured on a ViuTv KB program in 2018. 😎😌

The temple is very famous for Luang Phor Pern, his magical tattoos, and his ability to change one's luck and fortune. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Luang Phor Pern was a highly accomplished monk who frequently visited remote mountains for ascetic practices. One day, he encountered a fierce tiger. The monk calmly began chanting sutras for the tiger, which, upon hearing his chanting, was tamed and slowly left. Therefore, Luang Phor Pern is known as the "Tiger-Taming Arhat" in Thailand, and Wat Ban Phra is also called the Tiger Temple.

Luang Phor Pern passed away on June 30, 2545 BE (19 years ago) at the age of 79. After his passing, his disciples discovered many sacred objects he had created during his lifetime in his meditation room, including amulets and tiger teeth, all of which he had personally blessed daily during his lifetime!

Among Thai Sak Yant tattoos, Wat Ban Phai (Tiger Temple) is the most famous. There are many Sak Yant masters in Thailand, including many renowned monks, and Luang Phor Bon is one of the most prominent. Luang Phor Bon elevated the Sak Yant technique to a higher level, becoming an authority in Thai Sak Yant tattooing and attracting many enthusiasts who come specifically to get their tattoos. Wat Ban Phai (Tiger Temple) has thus gained a prestigious reputation in the international tattoo world.

Every year on the first Saturday of March, the temple hosts a grand tattoo festival, the "Wat Bang Phra Tattoo Festival" (Khun Si Shi Tattoo Festival). Thousands of devotees who have already received Sak Yant tattoos attend to receive blessings, creating a spectacular scene of many people being blessed simultaneously.
