[Introduction to the Sacred Relic]

The collection of materials and the creation of molds for this batch of sacred objects began in 2551 BE and they were officially released in 2553 BE. They underwent several large and small ceremonies to consecrate and were blessed for two years.

It was consecrated by nearly a hundred high-ranking monks, including Wat Ban Phra Luang Phor Sam Ang and Butterfly King Kruba Khesar Namgyel, and was blessed and consecrated in several grand ceremonies before leaving the temple. 

Wat Chalong is the only temple in Bangkok that enshrines the Four-Faced Buddha, the only one depicting him riding an elephant. Each consecration ceremony invites hundreds of high-ranking monks from Bangkok and surrounding temples to participate in the blessing and consecration rituals, making it incredibly powerful! 💥💥💥
