✨ A single lamp can dispel a thousand years of darkness; a single thought can illuminate ten thousand generations. ✨
Offering lamps for blessings, spreading light everywhere, increasing both blessings and wisdom.
Light a lamp to illuminate your wishes and warm the world.
A lamp is a symbol of light and a vessel of hope. A single lamp can not only dispel darkness but also convey our most sincere prayers. Whether we light a lamp for ourselves, our families, or all living beings, this light and warmth will transform into invisible blessings, returning to all directions.
The meaning and merit of lighting lamps
1. Prayers for Light, Peace, and Good Fortune
Lamps represent light and warmth, symbolizing the power of sincere wishes. Lighting a lamp with a devout heart allows us to convey our prayers to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, seeking peace, health, and good fortune for ourselves and our loved ones. Where there is sincerity, there is light; wishes will surely be fulfilled.
2. Extraordinary merits and virtues, increasing blessings and wisdom.
The Sutra on the Merits of Offering Lamps states: "Those who offer lamps to Buddhist stupas and temples will receive four kinds of joy: a dignified physical appearance, abundant wealth, great good roots, and great wisdom." Offering lamps to the Buddha not only accumulates merit and virtue but also opens wisdom, eliminates karmic obstacles, and brings immeasurable benefits in this life and the next.
3. Self-benefit and benefiting others – the spirit of the Bodhisattva
Lighting lamps is not merely an external offering, but also an act of igniting inner light. A lamp illuminates one's own heart and the world; a vow benefits oneself and all sentient beings. Like the sun shining brightly and rain nourishing the earth, with selfless aspirations, we dedicate the merit to all sentient beings, so that we may all attain enlightenment together.
Offering lamps together multiplies merit.

The power of group practice is incredible.
The Buddha taught that the merit of collective practice is the sum of individual merit. When one hundred people offer one hundred lamps, each person receives the blessing of all those lamps! Through collective practice, good intentions resonate, forming powerful positive energy that not only accumulates blessings for oneself but also brings peace and light to the world.
Accumulate blessings and cherish good fortune; let light shine forever.
Good fortune is like a bank deposit; only through continuous accumulation can one avoid overdrawing it. Offering lamps is a supreme method of accumulating merit, allowing us to plant good seeds in adversity, which will surely bear good fruit in the future. Cherish the present moment, make abundant offerings, and illuminate endless light for yourself and all sentient beings!
May this light dispel ignorance and bring blessings to the world.
Welcome to participate in the lamp offering ceremony and bask in the Buddha's light.
