[ Introduction to Kruba Tanjai ]
“ Phra Kru Wichian Panya ,” or as the villagers call him, “ Kruba Tanjai , ” is an advisor to the abbot of Wat Pa Ngew in Tha Wang Tan district , Seraphim district, Chiang Mai province , and is considered a renowned Lanna monk. He is widely known in the Thai amulet world for his powerful spiritual abilities, and is associated with Jatukham Ramthep . During the pandemic, the master was the first person in Chiang Mai to be invited to preside over the Jatu Kamramathep consecration ceremony in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The sacred objects blessed by the master are highly regarded by believers for their powerful influence, especially the most popular guiding amulets.
[Temple Introduction]
Wat Pa Ngio (Tha Wang Tan) is located in Tha Wang Tan subdistrict, Sarapi district, Chiang Mai province. It was completed on Saturday , May 7 , 1992 , and was formerly known as Wat Sipan Ruang.
Builders: Phrakru Yanrangsee of Wat Chai Nang Liao, who served as the chairman of the construction team along with Mae Chao Samana . Chao Kaew Ping Muang , Pho Noi Intha , LP Noi Yana , LP Noi Mano , and Faith Sathu were responsible for building the 25 temple roofs.
There are currently 13 abbots, including Phra Piya Dhammawaro and Kruba Tanjai , the abbots of Wat Pa Ngio .
Kruba Tanjai resigned because he rarely lived in the temple and became the abbot's advisor.
