[Introduction to the Sacred Relic]
The consecration ceremony was held by 16 high-ranking monks on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Wat Wang Daeng Tai in Tha Ruea District, Ayutthaya Province, Thailand.
The purpose of this ceremony was to create amulets to raise funds for the restoration of buildings and monks' quarters within Wat Wan Than Thai.
The high monks jointly inscribed scriptures on metal talismans, which would then be melted down together with old sacred materials to be used to cast amulets.
This Dharma assembly emphasized the Buddhist tradition of accumulating merit through offerings and the restoration of temples.
