Therefore, Luang Phor Pern is known as the "Tiger-Taming Arhat" in Thailand, and Wat Ban Phra is also called the Tiger Temple.
Luang Phor Pern passed away on June 30 , 2545 BE (19 years ago) at the age of 79. After his passing, his disciples discovered many sacred objects he had created during his lifetime in his meditation room, including amulets and tiger teeth, all of which he had personally blessed daily during his lifetime!
