[ About Ajarn Tim ]
Ajarn Tim is the foremost master in Thailand for creating Luang Phor Thuad amulets. His original name was Tim Prompradu, born on August 21 , 2455 BE (Buddhist Era) at Baan Na Pradu . His parents were Inthong and Num Prompradu , and he was the second of six children. Due to poverty, Ajarn Tim was sent by his father to Wat Na Pradu at a young age to become a novice monk and study Buddhism. He was deeply influenced by the abbot of Wat Na Pradu, Kruba Tha Lakkhong.
Wat Changhai Ajarn Tim is the first master in Thailand to dream of Luang Pu Thuat and create an image of him. Ajarn Tim was born on August 21 , 2455 BE , and was formally ordained as a monk in 2476 BE.
In 2495 BE , Ajarn Tim planned to build a temple that would provide religious services and allow ordinary people and monks to preach together, and a preliminary framework was formed by several senior monks.
However, having people is not enough; a temple also needs to be built. However, due to funding issues, the construction of the temple had to be stopped midway.
To expedite the temple's construction, Ajarn Tim conceived the idea of creating a batch of amulets to raise funds. Since Luang Phor Thuad of Wat Chang Hai was extremely famous, he decided to produce a batch of amulets featuring Luang Phor Thuad's image.
When Ajarn Tim shared his idea with the other monks, they all agreed, and together they collected materials to make amulets. Once the materials were collected... Ajarn Tim began mixing 108 ingredients, the most special of which was the stem mud, which is also the material that gives this brand its unique color.
The ingredients were placed into the mold at midnight on March 19 , 2497 BE (Buddhist Era) , with an estimated production run of 8400 pieces . However, due to time constraints, only 6400 amulets were ultimately produced . The consecration ceremony was held on April 15th , 2497 BE (Buddhist Era). The amulets were then distributed on the afternoon of April 18th . Initially, these amulets were only given to Ajarn Tim's close disciples and those who had contributed to the temple. From that day onwards ... Ajarn Tim then began making Luang Phor Thuad.
Because the images of Luang Phor Thuad created by Ajarn Tim were said to have repeatedly performed miracles, the images of Luang Phor Thuad created by Ajarn Tim became legendary in the world of amulets.
From then on, Ajarn Tim began making them, and his Luang Phor Thuad amulets continued to perform miracles. However, Ajarn Tim fell ill in 2510 BE (Buddhist Era), and his condition continued to deteriorate until he passed away in the early morning of November 30, 2512 BE (Buddhist Era).
