[ Master's Introduction ]
spiritual practice stories
The master was born on January 9 , 2524 BE ( 1981 AD ) . This young master, Kruba Ariyachcha, was born in Chiang Mai Province in northern Thailand. It is said that when the master was born, his whole body was pure white like a white lotus flower. The master was not only born with special wisdom, but his palms and soles were also much longer than ordinary people. Thai legend says that this palm shape can be said to be the appearance of an ancient saint.
Master Peacock ordained as a monk in 2540 BE (Buddhist Era) at the age of 16. He studied under many high-ranking monks in Northern Thailand. Despite his young age, he was highly accomplished in meditation and concentration. He often practiced meditation alone in remote mountainous areas. When he turned 21 , he formally received his Dharma name from his guru. By the time he received his Dharma name and became a monk, his skill in meditation and other practices was already very profound. He not only frequently meditated for days without food or drink, but he also repeatedly practiced cave meditation, digging a cave three feet wide and three feet deep, just large enough for him to sit in, and once secluded himself in such a retreat for 13 days.
The master was highly skilled in exorcising curses and attracting wealth. Once, when he was receiving believers and chanting sutras to bless them, a cursed nail fell into the bowl he was holding halfway through the chanting. The master casually tied the harmful cursed nail with a white sutra rope, thus subduing the curse. Instead, the believer who was cursed was terrified and almost fainted.
The Venerable Kruba Aryachā was skilled at incorporating peacock inscriptions into Buddhist artifacts. This was because the Venerable had a special affinity with sacred birds; the peacock, considered the king of birds, symbolizes not only wealth and power but also great auspiciousness, making it beloved by devotees. In fact, the mantras and sutras drawn by masters may not necessarily have a physical form, because when masters bless Buddhist artifacts, they also draw mantras and sutras for the artifacts from a distance. While drawing mantras, the master chanted sutras to bless the Buddhist treasures. Unfortunately, the master's designs for Buddhist treasures are limited, and the temple produces very few designs. Fortunately, the master is frequently invited to central Thailand and various provinces to participate in blessing and consecration ceremonies, and to participate in the creation of many Buddhist treasures. Therefore, devotees in many other regions can also possess Buddhist treasures blessed by the master, which is truly a blessing for everyone.
