Sakyamuni means the ancestor of Buddhism. Buddhas can have different dharma appearances. Generally, there are common ones such as: Jade Buddha, Fire Dragon Buddha, Seven Dragon Head Buddha, White Lam Buddha and so on. In Thailand, the Buddha has seven different dharmas representing the patron saint of those born on the week.

Buddha legend

The Buddha said, "I am now in a single body, speaking of the world, the world gathers, the world disappears, and the world traces the path." Within this scope, what the Buddha suffered was no different from that of all ordinary people. In the words of the Buddha, "birth suffers, old age suffers, and sickness suffers."

About 2,500 years ago, the Buddha was born in Kapilavastu in central India. His father was the king of the Sakyamuni tribe, and his mother was Princess Maya, whose name was Siddhartha. When he grew up, at the age of sixteen, he married the beautiful royal daughter Yalundhara. In the palace, he enjoys a life of sensual pleasures that is extremely rich in material things every day. Then, when he suddenly faced human suffering at the age of twenty-nine, he abandoned his newborn son Rahula, his wife and kingdom, and became a monk by the Anuma River.

In the six years or so since then, he has undergone numerous spiritual practices and ascetic practices. He first followed the meditator Araragaran, and then followed the practice of Udramas, but because he failed to obtain the ultimate wisdom, he left the two and entered into a life of asceticism such as resting meditation and fasting. Gained wisdom, and abandoned it. At the age of thirty-five, the Buddha sat in meditation under the tira tree by the Kayanilian Chan River and became enlightened. He penetrated the Four Noble Truths, the Noble Eightfold Path (Middle Path), realized the Law of Dependent Origination, and established the wisdom of Bodhi.

After Buddha attained enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, he decided to start promoting his teachings. The first thing that came to his mind was the two great immortals, Ara Logaran and Yudramazi. When he knew that the two had passed away, he started to set off for Sarnath in Balana, ready to find the five who had followed him and lived an ascetic life. a follower. After the Buddha became a monk and practiced, the national teacher of Kapilavastu sent five overseas Chinese, Chen Ru, Ba Ti, Ba Bo, Mahanan, and Ashuishi, to practice with the Buddha and take care of his life. During the six years of the Buddha's ascetic practice, five people always followed the Buddha. Later, the Buddha gave up his ascetic practices and accepted the offerings of the shepherds to eat and drink normally. The five people mistakenly thought that the Buddha had given up his practice, so they left him together and went to the jungle in Luyeyuan to continue their ascetic practice. The first turn of the Falun is like Gupta Luyeyuan style Luyeyuan is the place where the ancient emperors raised deer, where there is an ascetic forest. I heard that when the Buddha arrived at Luyeyuan, Qiao Chenru and the other five agreed to ignore the Buddha because he no longer practiced asceticism and was not worthy of respect. And when the Buddha taught them: "Whether a practitioner can comprehend the truth, the key is not the ascetic practice, nor the indulgence and pleasure, neither of which is the real cause of attaining the Tao." Qiao Chenru and other five people After listening to the Buddha's teachings, he was delighted and convinced, and joined the Buddhist sect together.

This time, the Buddha lived in Luyeyuan for three months. This was the first time Sakyamuni preached, which is called "the first turning of the Dharma wheel" in Buddhist history. Since then, the Buddha began to live and preach in the world from Luyeyuan, where he taught more than 300 sutras and saved thousands of disciples.

The scene after the first turning of the Falun by the Buddha has been deified in the Zhuan Falun Sutra. The gods on the earth shouted: "In the Luye Garden where the immortals fell in the city of Boronai, the World-Honored One has turned the supreme Dharma wheel. No ascetic or Brahmin, any deity, Mara or Brahma, or any person in the world, cannot turn it around." The king of heaven heard the cry of the gods of the earth, and uttered the same cry. Immediately, all the gods in the sky uttered the same cry, until the Brahma Realm, the Great Thousand World shook and shone brightly.

In the Buddhist scriptures after the Sanzang in the Pali language, some deified descriptions have also been added to the deeds of the Buddha's first turning of the Falun. On the way of the Buddha to Luyeyuan, "Major Events" and "Magic Games" also wrote that the Dragon King Shanjian invited the Buddha to stay and offer food and drink . When the Buddha arrived at the Ganges, he had no money to pay for the ferry, so he used his supernatural powers to cross the Ganges in the air.

When the Buddha turned the wheel of Dharma for the first time for the five monks, a seat of the Ten Treasures poured out on the ground for him to sit cross-legged and preach. When the Buddha sat on the Dharma throne, he radiated light, brightening the three thousand great thousand worlds. The three thousand great thousand worlds vibrated in six ways, showing eighteen auspicious signs. Hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas, Emperor Shatian, Brahma and all the gods, all came to bow to the feet of the Buddha and listen to the teachings.
