Jatukam Rinpoche is the god of wealth and influence, so it is said that wearing a Jatukam Rinpoche amulet can ward off evil, protect from danger, boost both direct and indirect wealth, avoid backstabbing, improve interpersonal relationships, and aid in career advancement and business. It is also believed to improve one's fortune and change one's luck, helping during times of adversity and hardship. In southern Thailand, almost every businessman owns a Jatukam Rinpoche amulet.
Jatukam Huc, currently one of the most popular amulets in Hong Kong and mainland China. When it was officially opened to the public for the first time on April 9 , 2549 BE at a school auditorium in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, it attracted more than 10,000 people who waited all night. The crowd was so large that it became uncontrollable, which attracted extensive media coverage in Southeast Asia, and the buying frenzy continued to spread.
Amulets are one of the most common sacred objects in Thai Buddhism. Most Thai Buddhist monks and temples make them and offer them to devotees.
Common types include amulet cloths with scriptures, amulet cloths with the footprints and fingerprints of revered monks, amulet cloths with the images of revered monks, amulet cloths featuring Buddha, and amulet cloths of other types. Temples usually make amulet cloths according to their characteristics. For example, temples of revered monks will produce amulet cloths with the images of the revered monks, Rahu temples will produce amulet cloths with the image of Rahu, and so on.
Like the Buddha statues, amulets, and sacred objects made from Thai temples, talisman cloth can be used as a sacred object for home worship.
Just like talisman cloths come in large, medium, and small sizes, generally speaking, the larger the talisman cloth made by a master, the more expensive it will be. In addition, talisman cloths themselves also have different magical functions, such as wealth-attracting talisman cloths, popularity talisman cloths, and home-protecting talisman cloths, etc. The key is to see which master used which magical function to bless it.
Good amulets can protect the home and house just like Buddha statues. In fact, decades ago, when Thailand was still in a period of war and poverty, amulets were much more common, and the miracles they produced were no less than those of amulets made by high monks.
In fact, the efficacy and effects of amulets and talismans are closely related to the magical power of the monks. As long as the monks' magical power is strong enough, even a stone will acquire spiritual power when they bless it.
