[Introduction to the Four-Faced God]

In Asia, it is sometimes called the "Four-Faced Buddha," but in Thailand, it is known as the "Four-Faced God," and is said to grant all wishes. This deity has four faces, each representing wealth, career, love, and health, and is in charge of all human affairs. It is one of the most popular Buddha statues in Thailand.

The Four-Faced God is a deity, not a Buddha. He is one of the three principal deities of Brahmanism. Originally named Brahma, he is the ruler of creation. The Four-Faced God has four faces and eight arms, each face representing loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Each of the eight arms has different implements, each representing a different power. Each implement represents bestowing upon sentient beings: blessings, health, wealth, and wisdom.

Because the Four-Faced Buddha possesses the four virtues of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and mercy, believers can obtain complete and efficacious results in their prayers for merit, career, love, marriage, wealth, prosperity, or peace and wisdom.

The Four-Faced God can be described as a compassionate king who sees in all directions, hears in all directions, and responds to every call. The ritual implements he holds each represent a different meaning.

The Four-Faced Buddha can help the wearer attract wealth, receive support from benefactors, gain more money and job opportunities, improve interpersonal relationships and attract the opposite sex, and protect against danger, trouble, and backstabbing.

Many people mistakenly refer to the Four-Faced God as the Four-Faced Buddha. According to records, the Four-Faced God is Brahma, the principal deity of Brahmanism; therefore, he is a god, not a Buddha. He is the god of creation, representing the creator of all things in the world. Each face of the Four-Faced God has a different meaning, and the implements in his eight hands represent different magical powers.

The four faces of the Four-Faced God represent:

Positive aspect: Compassion; Seeking success in studies, career, reputation, and status.

The second aspect [Sadness]: Seeking love, marriage, and benefactors, etc.

The third side [Joy]: Seeking wealth and prosperity, etc.

The fourth section, "She" (舍), is for praying for good health and the removal of misfortunes.

Ritual implements represent different magical powers.

Scriptures: Represent wisdom and intelligence

Rosary beads: Represent reincarnation and spiritual practice

Guns and clubs: representing the expulsion of all demons and monsters.

Vase: Represents that wishes will be fulfilled.

Conch shell: Represents a continuous flow of wealth.

Handprints: Represent blessings of peace and good fortune

Falun: Represents the elimination of disasters and difficulties and the expulsion of evil spirits and karmic obstacles.

Ruyi Bao: Represents all things going well.

[Master's Introduction]

LP Hong, also known as Luang Phor Hong, Luang Phor Kong, or Luang Phor Hong, was born in 2462 BE and passed away in 2558 BE. He was a highly accomplished monk who strictly adhered to Buddhist precepts and was a master of protective practices, considered one of the most prominent monks of modern times. LP Hong was also one of Thailand's top revered monks, known as the "Precious Elephant Monk."

The revered monk Luang Phor Hong, who was popular throughout Asia, passed away at the age of 97. He chose to leave this world on his birthday and entrusted all his affairs to his disciples. His remains will be preserved in the temple for two years. He was a highly accomplished and kind monk.

LP Hong is a very famous and highly respected master in Thailand. His biography includes:

LP Hong lived and traveled in Cambodia for 39 years, studying magic under many renowned Cambodian masters, including monks and white-robed sorcerers—no fewer than 160 teachers in total. At that time, LP Hong practically traversed every corner of Cambodia. One day, LP Hong arrived at a place called Vitna, located at the border between government military and rebel areas. As dusk approached, LP Hong set up camp under a large tree, intending to spend the night there. Around midnight, the rebels, startled by the intrusion, opened fire on the tent with M16 machine guns. However, LP Hong continued meditating inside the tent, unharmed. When the rebel soldiers opened the tent, they were utterly astonished.

At the time, LP Hong was still very young, and the rebels mistakenly thought he was an undercover agent sent by the government army. They captured him, locked him in an iron cage, and then threw him into the water, just like the "drowning of a pig in a cage" that we often talk about. After more than ten minutes, the rebels pulled up the iron cage, and what they saw left the soldiers dumbfounded.

LP Hong was still sitting perfectly fine in the iron cage, his robes completely dry. At that moment, some of the soldiers, who were Buddhist, opened the cage door and released LP Hong. They helped him to a seat and made him kneel down to beg for forgiveness. Since the soldiers had witnessed LP Hong's miraculous actions, his true identity as a monk was self-evident; he was definitely not a spy.

During the war in the Surin region, many bombs fell from the sky, but because of Luang Phor Hong's efforts, none of them exploded. Since then, people have believed that Luang Phor Hong has a high level of protection. So, from that time on, people came to Luang Phor Hong to donate amulets, wanting to make offerings to him. Since then, his name has soared to fame in various places.
