This batch of Khun Paen amulets features a lotus flower in hand and a compassionate expression. The design is inspired by and pays homage to the lotus-holding Khun Paen amulet created in 2506 BE by Luang Phor Khun, one of Phra Khun Paen's important teachers. This auspicious image has always been deeply imprinted in Phra Khun Paen's heart.
The back of the amulet features the most powerful charm spell from Wat Phra Yai – the Sarikaka charm bird spell. Both Khun Paen and Sarikaka are powerful charm spells, and the front and back of the amulet complement each other, representing the ultimate in charm.
Phra Kru Ban specially asked his master, Luang Phor Chi Lin (Wat Phaya), to bless the amulet together. The sacred materials of the amulet are mixed with a large amount of precious "human charm grass" and "auspicious grass" of more than a hundred kinds, and also mixed with Buddhist scripture powder treasured by Luang Phor Chi Lin. There is even a lot of Phra Phru Ta Khun Buddhist scripture powder from Wat Sa Kee, the first temple of Phra Phrudhi.
Luang Phor Chiling spared no effort in blessing his beloved disciple Phra Khun Paen during this period of Khun Paen amulets creation. He personally blessed these lotus-bearing Khun Paen amulets for a full "Dema" (approximately three months) before Phra Khun Paen took them back to Wat Lat.
Chado blessed the item again to ensure it was overflowing with spiritual power and perfectly balanced in all directions before releasing it from the temple for devotees to make offerings.
This batch of Lotus Khun Paen Phra Kumbum is highly valued, as it is extremely effective in warding off danger and disaster, as well as in improving wealth and interpersonal relationships. This is because both the collection of sacred materials for the amulet and the virtuous monks who blessed it are exceptional, described in the trade as "good from the inside out".
