《佛陀看似乎萬能,卻有四不。》

The Buddha, seemingly omnipotent, had four limitations.

The Buddha, seemingly omnipotent, had four limitations.

The Buddha, seemingly omnipotent, had four limitations.

Sometimes people will ask Buddha with tears in their eyes:

You are both powerful and compassionate, so why do some people still suffer?

Buddha's eyes reddened: Child! Though I possess the greatest supernatural powers, there are still four things I cannot do:

🪢First, cause and effect cannot be changed: you reap what you sow, and no one can take your place;

🪢Secondly, wisdom cannot be bestowed: anyone who wants to gain wisdom must undergo self-cultivation;

🪢Third, the wonderful Dharma cannot be explained in words: the truth of the universe cannot be explained in words, you can only verify it yourself;

🪢 Fourth, those without affinity cannot be saved: those without affinity will not listen to my words.

Even abundant rain cannot nourish rootless grass;

The Buddhist path is vast, and it is difficult for those without affinity to enter it.

Because in many situations, gods and Buddhas can only grant opportunities; everything else depends on one's own efforts to change things. 🙏🏻
