This amulet is called Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and is considered to be one of the most important and valuable amulets in Ayutthaya. Because apart from being found at Wat Yai Chaimongkol another was found at Wat Phutthaisawan .

Both temples were the largest royal temples in the Ayutthaya period. It is speculated that it was an amulet created by important people, so it was included in two important royal temples.


Yai Chaiyamongkhon (Wat Yai Chaiyamongkhon; วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล ), also known as " Great Victory Auspicious Temple " , was originally built in 1357 in the period of King Wutong, the first king of the Ayutthaya Dynasty. King Narisuan of the Ayutthaya Dynasty defeated the Burmese army and was rebuilt in 1593. It is one of the oldest buildings in Ayutthaya and the most well-preserved cultural relic in Ayutthaya. At the same time, it is also the filming location for the TV series "Journey to the West" and the movie "People's Journey to Thailand".
