Ajarn Khun Pan led a legendary life, being the first monk in Thailand to create Jatukam Ramathep amulets, and is extremely famous in Thailand. Khun Pan was unafraid to challenge evil forces. In just five years, Khun Pan actually managed to capture the powerful bandit himself.
Master Khun Pan was very interested in magic and metaphysics when he was a child. Whenever he had free time, he would seek out famous teachers to learn metaphysics and magic. Later, he became a disciple of Wat Khok Khok, the number one magician in southern Thailand, and learned a lot of magic. He also immersed himself in herbs and holy water and chanted scriptures continuously for several days and nights. In addition, the master also tattooed Sak Yant on Ajarn Khun Pan's body, which made him invulnerable to knives and spears, so he was known as the " Iron-skinned Detective " .
Khun Phan at age 30 I applied for a one-year suspension. Khwarazmian Phagmodrupa became a monk. In this year, Khun Pan diligently studied Buddhist precepts and discipline. One year later, When choosing an auspicious day to return to secular life, Many police officers came to welcome him as he exited the border.
Ajarn Khun Pan was the head of the 8th Police District in Thailand and the last civilian to receive this honor. He dedicated over 70 years of his life to serving the country and its people. Known for his strong sense of justice and hatred of evil, he was a renowned crime fighter in Thailand and the spiritual leader of Nakhon Si Thammarar in southern Thailand .
Ajarn Khun Pan passed away peacefully on July 5 , 2549 BE (Buddhist Era), at the age of 108 , in good health and without illness. After a hundred days of chanting and dedication ceremonies, his cremation was officially held on February 22 , 2550 BE ( Buddhist Era). Due to King Rama IX's poor health, a prince was specially dispatched to personally carry the royal cremation to bid farewell to this hero.
Because Ajarn Khun Pan was extremely honest and incorruptible throughout his life, and dedicated himself to eradicating crime, he was deeply loved by the Thai people. On the day of his cremation ceremony, approximately 300,000 people came to pay their respects.
Two days before the funeral, a large number of people had already flocked to Wat Mahathat . Due to the overwhelming number of people, severe traffic congestion occurred, forcing police to close main roads and advise the public to walk to the funeral. Originally, this batch of Ajarn Khun Pan's Jatukam Ramathep amulets was planned to be distributed on the day of the funeral, but because the number of attendees far exceeded expectations and many people fainted at the scene, this particular Jatukam Ramathep amulet was only given to important officials and members of the royal family attending the funeral, and will be made available to the public afterward.
